Before and after breast reduction in a 19 year old woman. Her breasts literally hung TO HER NAVEL. She had not yet had children and did not have the breasts of a teenager! They were completely out of proportion to her frame and prevented her from exercising and finding clothes that fit. She needed help!
A breast reduction removed 5 pounds of breast tissue and rearranged her remaining tissue, keeping an intact blood supply to her nipples and areolas. The milk ducts and nerves were also preserved to the nipple, facilitating future breast feeding and return of erogenous sensation.
Late follow up photos are shown 3 years after surgery. Note the position of the birthmark on her left upper breast before and after surgery!
She has an active lifestyle now and no longer needs to wear a bra! She is proportional to her frame and looks like the cute 22 year old she really is.
