Before and after a breast reduction in a 22 year old woman. She had extremely dense and heavy breasts and a significant size difference from one side to the other. She was worried about having surgery so young and before having children; she was reassured to know that the two functions of the breast (ability to nurse a baby and erogenous sensation to the nipple) would be maintained to the best of our ability.
A breast reduction removed heavy breast tissue from the bottom and side of her breasts, but her size remained proportional to her frame. An intact milk duct supply, sensory nerve supply and a robust vascular supply was maintained to the nipple.
Follow up photos are shown one year after surgery. Her scars are nearly completely mature and she loves her new and improved breasts!
