Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift as the breast reconstruction technique in a 64 year old breast cancer survivor. She had undergone two lumpectomies on her left breast; she did not need chemotherapy or radiation. She had heavy, pendulous breasts and she wished to have a breast reduction and lift together with removal of some painful breast tissue in her past lumpectomy site.
The scarred and contracted left breast lateral lumpectomy cavity was excised and sent to the Pathology lab for analysis together with breast tissue removed from each breast. An auto-augmentation technique of local tissue rearrangement moved her bresat tissue higher up on the chest and reshaped her breasts to a rounder and more youthful shape.
Follow up photos are shown a year after surgery.
