Before and after mastopexy (breast lift) and liposuction of the sides of the breasts and armpit fat in a 56 year old woman with breast droop and significant asymmetry. She was happy with her breast volume but wanted her breasts to assume the position they had while wearing a bra.
A mastopexy reshaped her breasts but did not remove any tissue other than excess lower pole skin. Her areola diameter was reduced and her nipples lifted to be higher up on her breasts. Liposuction not only debulked her bra rolls of fat, but also the annoying rolls of fat under her breasts that had developed after menopause.
Follow up photos are shown at 3 months postoperatively with greater symmetry of breast size and shape. She is so happy with her results and now feels very comfortable going braless!
