Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift in a 60-year-old woman. She had lost weight and much of her breast volume, since the breast naturally atrophies and gains fat after menopause. With a reduction in fat content in the body, the breasts also lose much of their fullness and end up deflated, as in this patient.
A small amount of breast tissue was removed, and the remainder of the breast was reshaped using the auto-augmentation technique. Long-term follow up photos are shown 4 years after surgery, with mature, imperceptible scars and a long-lasting result.
