Before and after breast lift as part of a Mommy Makeover procedure in a 40 year old woman. Although she remained in great shape during and after her pregnancies, she missed the former perkiness of her breasts. She wasn’t looking to be bigger and was not interested in breast implants.
Her Mommy Makeover included a breast lift, abdominoplasty, labiaplasty and liposuction of her axillary rolls, abdomen, flanks, pubic region and upper inner thighs. The breast lift (mastopexy) reshaped her breasts, lifted her nipples, reduced the diameter of the areolas, and gave her a look as if she was wearing a non-push-up bra. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls as part of the mastopexy.
Postoperatively, she took a month of work and resumed light exercise at 6 weeks. Follow up photos are shown 9 months after surgery. Her scars are well on their way to maturity, she has regained nipple sensation, and has normal range of arm motion in her yoga practice.
