Before and after mastopexy in a 26 year old woman. She had not yet been pregnant or had any children, but had significant drooping of her breasts as if she was already a mother who had breast fed many babies!
A mastopexy (breast lift) removed a very small amount of breast tissue and reshaped her breasts to a perkier shape and a higher position on her chest wall. The diameter of her areolas was decreased in proportion to her new breast shape and look.
Whereas before surgery, most of her breast tissue hung below the fold of her breasts, after a breast lift, it is all located above the fold. Liposuction of the axillary rolls removed stubborn fat in her armpit region and the back fat/bra roll area to compliment this procedure.
Follow up photos are shown at 7 months after surgery. Her scars are continuing to mature and she feels like she now looks appropriate to her young age and vital personality!
