Before and after bilateral mastopexy (breast lift) in a 33 year old woman with tubular breasts. She was not looking to have larger breasts and did not want an implant – she just wanted the look of wearing a bra without needing to wear one!
A breast lift using the auto-augmentation technique reshaped her tuberous breasts and moved the tissue up higher on her chest, as for a breast augmentation. However, this technique used her own breast tissue instead of an implant. She had all the volume she needed – it just needed to be repositioned and reshaped. Liposuction removed excess fat from her axillary rolls, including the armpits and bra rolls.
Long term follow up photos are shown 4 years after surgery. Her breast lift and round shape has held up and she no longer feels self-conscious about her breasts. And she loves being all natural!
