Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 47-year-old woman. She had severely oversized breasts that were out of proportion to her small stature – true “macromastia”. Her goal was to be much smaller and finally have the freedom to not wear a bra.
A breast reduction removed over 1.5 kilograms (over three and a half pounds) per breast! Liposuction removed over a liter of fat from each bra roll. That totals over eight pounds in a three-hour surgery!
After surgery, she took a month off work and gradually began exercising, something she had never been able to do before due to the enormous size of her breasts. Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery. She is an entirely new person and looks forward to the end of her forties and entering her fifties as an active, new woman!
