When is the right time to have a breast augmentation? It's a personal decision. The most important thing I educate my patients about is the two functions of the breast: the ability to breast feed a baby/babies in the future and erogenous sensation to the nipples.
Thankfully, both functions should be intact after a breast augmentation, thanks to the incision in the inframammary fold and even if a lift is performed at the same time, preservation of a strong connection between the nipple and the rest of the breast.
