Before and after bilateral breast augmentation and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 40-year-old woman. After having children and breastfeeding, she had lost some upper pole fullness to her breasts. She was looking for a subtle, natural-looking result for her augmentation that would not be obvious to others.
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position, through an incision hidden in the fold of her breast. Liposuction removed a small amount of excess fat from her armpits through two tiny incisions hidden in her axillary folds.
Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. The implants “feel like part of her” and she regained full nipple sensation fairly early on after surgery. She is very satisfied with her decision to have a breast augmentation, and loved that her Plastic Surgery shared her own augmentation experience with her!
