Before and after bilateral mastopexy-augmentation in a 40-year-old woman. Her breasts had always been droopy, even as a teen, due to their tubular shape. Now that she was finished having children and breastfeeding, she was ready for her Mommy Makeover refresh! Her makeover included placement of breast implants and a breast lift, with liposuction of the axillary rolls.
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position through an incision under her breast. Her nipples and areolas had assumed a very low position on the breast, classified as Grade III ptosis due to their location at the bottom of the breasts. Her nipples were lifted, and excess lower pole breast skin was removed by way of a lollipop incision.
Early follow up photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery. She is ready to begin scar therapy, and she is already enjoying trying on her tops at home with her new-found cleavage!
