Before and after bilateral mastopexy and augmentation in a 30 year old woman who had previously undergone massive weight loss after gastric bypass. She had lost all her breast volume and wanted her past fullness back. She also developed hypertrophic/keloid scars in several areas that required surgical revision and scar therapy.
A breast augmentation involved placing smooth round silicone gel breast implants on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. Her nipples and areolas were re-lifted in a mastopexy to redrape her loose lower pole skin around the breast implant. Scar revisions and aggressive scar therapy improved the appearance of her scars.
Follow up photos are shown two years after surgery. She has maintained a stable weight and a healthy lifestyle, vital components to having a successful outcome after post-weight loss body contouring Plastic Surgery.
