Before and after bilateral breast revision that included a breast implant exchange, a mastopexy and liposuction of the axillary rolls. This 45 year old mother had old saline implants that lay low on her chest and were droopy and felt deflated to her.
She had accumulated stubborn fat in her armpit area that would not go away no matter how much she exercised or how strict her diet was. She wanted fuller, perkier and more youthful looking breasts and to get rid of her “matronly look”.
Her old saline implants were removed and new silicone gel breast implants were placed in a higher up position on her chest, in the subglandular position. Her nipples were raised to a higher position on her breasts, and her areola diameter was decreased. Liposuction permanently removed fat from her axillary rolls (armpit regions) and the sides of her breasts (the “back fat/bra roll”).
Follow up photos are shown just three months after surgery. Her incisions are pink and slightly swollen, as expected for early, immature scars. Her sensory nerves are waking up and she can feel her nipples nearly normally now.
She has begun scar therapy, which consists of massaging her scars and using a medical grade topical scar gel. Over the next 6-9 months her incisions will fade further and her results will look even nicer!
