Before and after bilateral mastopexy and augmentation in a 43 year old woman. Her breasts had lost their volume after having children, and she desperately wanted “the girls back”!
A breast augmentation replaced breast volume lost subsequently after each of her pregnancies. Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed subglandularly to avoid muscle sacrifice or animation deformity.
A mastopexy lifted her breast skin, reduced her areola diameter, moved the nipples to a more youthful position and improved the overall aesthetic appearance to her breasts.
Liposuction of the axillary rolls and back fat/bra roll permanently removed unwanted stubborn fat from these areas.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her incisions are pink, as expected from increased blood flow during healing. They will fade to more light colored scars over the next 6 months.
