Before and after bilateral mastopexy and augmentation in a 31 year old woman with tubular breasts. She had relatively small, widely spaced and somewhat droopy breasts that she felt were not in proportion to the rest of her body. She also had significant fat deposits in her armpit region she wanted gone!
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle in the subglandular position. A breast lift elevated her nipples and areolas, made her areola diameter smaller and lifted her low hanging breast skin around her new perky breast shape.
Liposuction removed fat from the axillary rolls bilaterally. Early follow up photos are shown 5 weeks after surgery. She has slightly more swelling on the right side than the left, which is extremely common in right handed patients! Her incisions are pink due to increased blood flow during healing.
She is about to start scar therapy and she has already returned to exercise without restrictions. She loves her new breasts and finally has the look she was creating in a bra since puberty – but without needing to wear a padded push up bra!
