Before and after umbilicoplasty as part of a Mommy Makeover in a 34 year old mother of three. The belly button is often stretched out, flat, an “outie” or “effaced” (flat like a shallow saucer) when the rectus abdominis muscles are pulled apart with several pregnancies.
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) fixes the belly button to create a more normal looking navel and always makes a cuter, smaller “innie”!
Follow up photos are shown two months after umbilicoplasty that was performed with a tummy tuck. The incisions are still pink and have started to fade. Eventually, the scar will be hidden inside the navel for a natural appearance that perfectly complements a flatter tummy!
