Before and after Mommy Makeover consisting of a mastopexy-augmentation, abdominoplasty and liposuction in a 41-year-old mother of four Her goals for her breasts were to get the fullness of when she was breastfeeding back, with a lift of her nipples. She wanted her formerly flat belly back as well!
Her procedure involved placement of smooth round silicone gel breast implants on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. A lift was performed at the same time to move her nipples higher up and remove excess baggy lower pole skin.
A tummy tuck corrected her rectus diastasis, allowing her abdominal muscles to work better ergonomically. Excess lower abdominal skin and fat was trimmed, and her umbilicus (belly button) was inset through a new skin opening.
Liposuction removed fat from her bra rolls and armpits, abdomen, pubic region and upper inner and outer thighs. Very early follow up photos are shown 3 weeks after surgery. She will begin scar therapy in another month, when all her scabs are gone. Her implants are still sitting up high, as expected. With time, they will settle as swelling resolves in her breasts.
