Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 24 year old woman. She had always been slender and now that she had started power lifting, she was surprised that her belly fat and love handles did not go away like other areas of fat on her body.
Liposuction removed nearly two liters of fat in an outpatient surgery done under local anesthesia. Postoperatively, she wore compression under her clothes for two months. Follow up photos are shown a year and a half after surgery. Her scars are mature and she has maintained her high level of physical fitness.
