Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 65 year old woman. She had accumulated excess fat in her midsection after menopause. She was planning a neck lift and was excited to add liposuction of her belly and love handles to her procedure!
She had realistic expectations for her liposuction – which was not to look like a supermodel or for a completely flat tummy, but rather to have less upper abdominal fat. She knew she would have to add abdominal strengthening to improve her overall core tone.
Liposuction permanently removed fat from her upper and lower abdomen, flanks and pubic region. Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. She is very happy to have less fat in her midsection and that she did not need a tummy tuck!
