Before and after liposuction of the back in a 23 year old woman. She was fit and active, but had upper back fat rolls that persisted despite her best efforts.
Liposuction of the back was performed in the office under local anesthesia. Over 200 mL of fat was removed from her upper back rolls and her bra line area. Postoperatively, she worked from home for a week and wore a compressive upper body garment to limit swelling and bruising for 2-3 weeks.
Follow up photos are shown 8 months after surgery. Her swelling has completely resolved and her scars are mature. She loves that she can see the outline of her “lats” (Latissimus dorsi muscles) now!
