Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 41 year old man. He had accumulated unwanted fat in his midsection over the last few years, and despite hard work in the gym and clean eating, he could not reduce his belly fat any further.
Liposuction of the abdomen and flanks permanently removed over 3 liters of fat from his belly. Postoperatively, he wore a compressive binder under his work shirt for 6 weeks, and resumed unrestricted exercise at three weeks when the bruising was gone.
Follow up photos are shown three months after surgery. He still has firm, immobile swelling called edema. This swelling will resolve over the next 3-6 months. He is already impressed by his early results!
