Before and after gynecomastia correction using ultrasound assisted liposuction (UAL) in a 30 year old man. He previously had been much heavier and had undergone significant weight loss and kept it off for several years. However, he felt like he still had a female looking chest, particularly when he bent forward.
Ultrasonic liposuction permanently removed fat from his chest and breasts, created a more flat contour and more masculine appearance to his chest. This was performed in the operating room as an outpatient procedure. He took a week off work and wore compression under his shirts for 6 weeks after surgery.
Follow up photos are shown three months after surgery. He still has some minor stigmata of his formerly obese self, such as an expanded rib cage, but he is considering going shirtless at the beach now!
