Before and after liposuction of the hips, inner and outer thighs, abdomen, flanks and pubic region in a 56 year old woman. She had what Plastic Surgeons call “lipodystrophy” (excess localized fat deposits) in the “violin deformity” pattern – her lower half looked like the outline of a violin.
Despite being very physically fit and eating healthy for years, this body shape persisted. Her goal was to remove fat from these areas and to achieve a more normal body shape. She was an ideal candidate for liposuction.
Liposuction removed over 4 liters of fat from these areas in total. Follow up photos are shown six months after surgery. Her body contour is greatly improved, and she no longer feels the need to wear Spanx under her clothing every day!
