Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 47-year-old woman. She wanted to improve her abdominal contour, but not to undergo the major downtime that a full tummy tuck would require.
Over two liters of fat was removed from her upper and lower abdomen, flanks and pubic region during a two-hour procedure performed under general anesthesia. After surgery, she wore compression garments under her clothes for a full two months in order to help encourage her postoperative firm swelling called edema to resorb more quickly.
Follow up photos are shown over 1 year after surgery. Her abdominal contour is drastically improved, and she is incredibly pleased with her decision to undergo aesthetic body contouring.
