Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and circumferential flanks, upper inner and outer thighs and pubic region in a 34-year-old woman. She had lost weight but still had excess fat in these areas.
She had not yet had children but was getting married in six months and was looking forward to starting a family in the next three years. She not only wanted the best figure for her wedding dress but desired an improved figure going in to being a wife and impending motherhood.
Liposuction was proposed as an option to her before pregnancy despite the presence of excess lower abdominal skin, knowing that her body would likely change after pregnancy and that a tummy tuck would be an option for her in the future.
Liposuction of the abdomen, flanks, pubic region, upper inner and outer thighs was performed under general anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. Nearly five liters of fat was removed through several tiny incisions hidden in skin creases wherever possible.
Follow up photos are shown 7 months after surgery, with obvious results and maintenance of her beautiful curves! She looked fantastic in her wedding dress and has followed up with us since with baby pictures!
