Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 57-year-old woman. She wanted to improve the appearance of her abdomen and was a good candidate for liposuction to permanently remove fat from her midsection.
Over a liter of fat was removed using several tiny incisions hidden in skin creases. After surgery, she wore compression under her clothes for several weeks to keep the swelling under control and limit bruising.
Follow up photos are shown 7 months after surgery.
