Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 39-year-old woman. following the birth of her three children, she accumulated extra fat in her midsection. She also had mild separation of her abdominal muscles (rectus diastasis, or diastasis recti) but this did not bother her. She was looking for minimal downtime but a significant reduction of fat.
Liposuction removed over a liter and a half of fat from her upper and lower abdomen, anterior flanks and pubic region. After surgery, she transitioned from an abdominal binder to shapewear under her clothes at three weeks and worked from home for the first two weeks after her procedure.
Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. She is pleased with her early results and is now motivated to improve her muscle tone by core strengthening, which will only enhance her results further!
