Before and after liposuction of the abdomen in a 47-year-old woman. She wanted to remove the small amount of fat that had accumulated around her belly button in her forties, and added on some liposuction with her breast revision procedure.
Five tiny incisions were used to permanently remove fat from her upper and lower abdomen while she was asleep under general anesthesia. After surgery, she wore compression over the area for several months to help limit swelling and encourage the skin to flatten out faster.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery.
