Before and after mini-abdominoplasty and liposuction of the body in a 53-year-old woman. She had an indented C-section scar and unwanted excess fat in her midsection. She wanted to minimize surgery but gain an improved contour of her belly.
A mini-abdominoplasty removed excess fat from her lower abdomen. Any time a procedure in Plastic Surgery is “mini”, this means that the entire procedure is not being done. In this case, muscle repair and belly button relocation were omitted.
Liposuction removed excess fat from her abdomen and anterior flanks. Long-term follow-up photos are shown 3 years after surgery.
