Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 59-year-old woman. Together with a breast reduction and liposuction of her arms and axillary rolls, she wanted to improve the contour of her belly.
Liposuction permanently removed excess fat from her midsection. After surgery, she wore compression under her clothes for a full 6 weeks. Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. She still has some swelling and contour irregularities, but her abdominal contour is greatly improved and will continue to settle over the next year.
