Before and after liposuction of the body in a 38-year-old woman. She was naturally curvy and fit but had stubborn areas of fat that she could not address with diet and exercise. She also no longer wore her navel piercing, and wanted her belly button to look normal again.
Liposuction of her abdomen, circumferential flanks, inner and outer thighs removed just under five liters of fat as an outpatient procedure. Her old belly button piercing scar was revised and repaired.
After surgery, she wore a compression garment under her clothes for 6 weeks and transitioned to yoga pants for ongoing compression until 3 months. Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. There still is some surgical swelling but she can already appreciate her results!
