Before and after liposuction of the back and posterior flanks in a 38-year-old woman. She previously had body contouring on her front side but was not offered liposuction on the areas that still really bothered her – her bra rolls and “muffin top”.
She was happy to learn that she could also have contouring in these areas and that her recovery would not be as significant as her original Mommy Makeover surgery. Liposuction removed over a liter and a half of fat in an outpatient procedure. After surgery, she wore shapewear for several months after surgery to help her skin contract to its new form.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her contour is more of an hourglass now – she is very happy with her back and her front!
