Before and after liposuction of the abdomen in a 46 year old woman. When she was a teenager, she had a large abdominal tumor removed which left her with a long transverse scar that accentuated normal subcutaneous fat on either side of the scar. After having children, the difference above and below the scar was even more extreme from normal accumulation of fat.
Liposuction removed much of her fat above and below the scar so she had a normal abdominal contour. Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. She feel comfortable wearing fitted dresses and a two-piece swim suit now!
