Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 49 year old woman. Together with a tummy tuck, she sought fat removal from her arms using liposuction together with her bra roll, abdomen, flanks and thighs. This procedure was performed as an outpatient surgery under general anesthesia.
Postoperatively, she wore a compression garment for six weeks to encourage her upper arm skin to contract and mold to her new form. Early follow up photos are shown two months after surgery.
She still has wrinkling of her skin in several areas which is called “edema”. Her body will continue to absorb this swelling and her upper arm skin will gradually smooth out over the next several months. However, the contour of her arms is already greatly improved!
