Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 59-year-old woman. together with a breast reduction, she wanted to improve the contour of her upper arms. She also considered a brachioplasty, but did not want the long inner arm scar that is created when excess skin is removed from the upper arms.
Liposuction removed excess fat from her arms. After surgery, she wore compression sleeves under her clothes for six weeks. Follow up photos are shown 5 months after surgery. Even with older age, the body’s elastin works to contract the arm skin to its new form. Her arm contour is greatly improved!
