Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 34 year old woman. As part of her Mommy Makeover surgery, she wished to improve the contour of her arms.
She was physically strong and worked hard to reduce her overall fat content on her own; once a patient is as close as possible to their ideal weight and has a good level of physical fitness, it is an appropriate time to consider a body contouring procedure such as liposuction.
Fat was permanently removed from her upper arms in an outpatient surgery. Postoperatively, she wore a compression garment under her clothes for 6 weeks. Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery.
