Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 62 year old woman. She had excess fat in her upper arms and some moderately loose skin. After learning about the scars and downtime involved for a brachioplasty, she opted for liposuction of her upper arms.
She understood that she would still have some loose skin and crepe-like texture to her upper arm skin. Her goal was to have less upper arm fat, and she didn’t mind the 60-year-old skin tone.
Liposuction removed over a liter and a half of fat from her upper arms. Postoperatively, she wore compression sleeves under her ¾ sleeve tops for three months. Follow up photos are shown 9 months after surgery. Her skin wrinkles are continuing to settle and her arm contour is greatly improved.
