Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 35 year old woman. Her arms had always been thick, and she was planning liposuction of several other areas of her body.
Through 4 tiny (2-3 mm) incisions in the elbow and armpit areas, fat was permanently removed from her upper arms. Follow up images are shown 3 months after surgery.
She still has swelling but she can start to see her muscles beneath her arm skin and subcutaneous fat. She has resumed exercise and looks forward to swelling going down further.
