Before and after labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction in a 26 year old woman. She expressed that she was self-conscious about her redundant labia minora tissue and extra folds of clitoral hood skin that she saw when she looked down.
She was looking for a “normal and natural looking result” that would not be apparent to future romantic partners. A labiaplasty trimmed excess labia minora mucosa and clitoral hood skin but left a normal amount of tissue behind.
This procedure was performed in the office under local anesthesia with an oral anti-anxiety pill to help calm her nerves. This is standard for all patients in our practice.
Early follow up photos are shown 7 weeks after surgery. She already feels way more comfortable in her skin and feels like she has a new lease on life – running, spinning and excited to wear a string bikini!
