Before and after labiaplasty in a 17-year-old woman. While most of our labiaplasty patients are adults, on occasion this procedure is offered to teenagers due to physical symptoms. This athletic and emotionally mature teen had pain, swelling and tearing of her labia minora when she competed in her sport at a competitive level.
A labiaplasty trimmed excess labia minora tissue but left a normal amount of labia minora behind. Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. She now competes without any discomfort and never actually thinks about her labia any longer – which is the sign of a great result!
