57-year-old physically active woman with a depressed hysterectomy and C-section scar, excess abdominal fat and loss of rectus muscle tone. An abdominoplasty removed the excess skin and fat, brought her rectus muscles back to the midline, and created a more youthful and ergonomic muscular core. Postoperative photos taken 6 months after surgery show maturing scars and a flat tummy contour. Note some mild scoliosis causes her abdomen to appear slightly slanted.
