Before and after abdominoplasty and liposuction of the abdomen, circumferential flanks, pubis, inner and outer thighs in a 44-year-old mother of three. She was athletic, but her body had accumulated extra fat in her hips and thighs, and her abdomen had a “pooch” of skin and fat that hung above her C-section scar.
An abdominoplasty reopened her old C-section scar and removed over four pounds of extra skin and fat from her lower belly. Her muscles were repaired in the midline, correcting her rectus diastasis, and her abdominal skin was pulled tightly downward.
Liposuction removed over three liters of extra fat from her upper and lower abdomen, pubic region, flanks, inner and outer thighs. After surgery, she wore shapewear as part of her “daily outfit” for several months to limit postoperative swelling and encourage skin contraction to its new form.
Follow up photos are shown 2 years after surgery. Her scars are mature, sensation has returned to her entire abdomen (with exception of mild numbness just of her lower abdominal scar), and she is extremely satisfied with her results!
