Before and after abdominoplasty in a 45 year old woman. After having four children, including a set of twins, her abdomen had lost all its tone and it formerly athletic contour.
An abdominoplasty repaired her muscles back together in the midline and reversed her rectus diastasis that measured 15 cm in its maximal dimension! Many of her stretch marks were removed, together with two pounds of lower abdominal skin and fat from her lower abdomen and a liter and a half of unwanted fat from her abdomen, flanks, pubic region and upper inner thighs.
Follow up photos are shown a year and a half after surgery.
