Before and after abdominoplasty and liposuction in a 34 year old mother. She was planning a Mommy Makeover, including a breast reduction and lift with circumferential liposuction of her flanks. She had stretch marks, excess skin and fat, and separation of her rectus abdominis muscles (“rectus diastasis”) that contributed to her protuberant belly.
A tummy tuck surgically excised her lower abdominal skin and fat (see the specimens in the last set of before and after images). Her abdominal muscles were repaired in the midline, and excess fat was liposuctioned from her upper and lower belly, pubic region, upper inner thighs and flanks from the front around to the back.
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. She has started scar therapy and looks forward to her swelling going down further over the next several months.
